Context
Aternity Mobile is an enterprise solution that provides IT teams with deep visibility into the real digital experience of employees on mobile devices. It monitors device health, application performance, network activity, and security threats across Android and iOS, enabling proactive issue detection, policy enforcement, and improved workforce productivity as part of Riverbed’s unified observability platform.
Problem
IT teams lack real visibility into the real digital experience of employees on mobile devices. Traditional MDM solutions focus on configuration and compliance but provide limited insight into application performance, network issues, hardware health, security threats, and how these factors impact productivity and user satisfaction across diverse mobile environments.
Process
Aternity Mobile was designed as part of Riverbed’s unified observability platform to continuously collect and analyze real-device telemetry. The solution gathers over 150 performance metrics across applications, devices, networks, and security layers on Android and iOS, integrating deeply with system-level APIs such as Accessibility and VPN services to monitor real usage, traffic, and threats—even when apps are closed or running in the background.
Solution
Aternity Mobile delivers proactive mobile digital experience management by enabling IT teams to identify and resolve performance, connectivity, hardware, battery, application, and security issues before they impact employees. It monitors application usage and crashes, enforces corporate network policies, detects malware and phishing attempts, and enables bidirectional communication with employees through contextual messaging—all from a single unified platform view.
